Society of News Design has announced the best designed newspapers in 2009. Two German papers, Frankfurter Allgemeine and Der Freitag, - and New York Times.
Gotta love the picture of the world’s best judges in action - I’m sure the SND-competition is about the only design-competition where such a lovely picture could be taken.
The judges are Margaret O’Connor (retired), Dennis Brack (The Washington Post), Miguel Gomez (Al Nisr Group), Lily Lu (L5 Communications), J. Bruce Baumann (retired).
