What is the best way to facilitate a discussion on a website like VisualJournalism? To be honest, I haven't figured it out yet. Lots of possibilities and they all promise to be really simple and work like a charm. I have now decided to go with the disqus-system instead of the facebook-connect. That way you'll have more options to log in with existing accounts. Also - I'm working to get a few more updates on the site each day. World’s Best judges have chosen their favourites
Society of News Design has announced the best designed newspapers in 2009. Two German papers, Frankfurter Allgemeine and Der Freitag, – and New York Times.
Gotta love the picture of the world’s best judges in action – I’m sure the SND-competition is about the only design-competition where such a lovely picture could be taken.
The judges are Margaret O’Connor (retired), Dennis Brack (The Washington Post), Miguel Gomez (Al Nisr Group), Lily Lu (L5 Communications), J. Bruce Baumann (retired).
